Mirror's Edge impressed lots of gamers from around the world and, despite its not so successful sales, it gained a cult following.
After quite a lot of rumors, especially in the last few weeks, Mirror's Edge 2 has been confirmed by EA and its DICE studio.
The announcement was made at EA's E3 2013 press conference and it included a gameplay video that showed protagonist Faith getting a tattoo and doing her trademark combination of free-running and brutal hand-to-hand combat.
The video's end mentioned that Mirror's Edge 2 will arrive when it's ready, so don't expect the title to appear anytime soon.
