Miranda Lambert has taken a lot of heat for going after Chris Brown on Twitter for his performances at the 2012 Grammys but, as the video above will confirm, she’s not about to go down without a fight.

Not only did she call him out during her latest concert by holding a fan-made sign reading “Take notes Chris Brown,” but she also spoke again about how we shouldn’t encourage domestic violence by supporting a known abuser as Brown.

“Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter. I’ve been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately... but see, I just have to speak my mind because where I come from beating up on a woman is never okay,” she said.

“So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun,” she added, before launching into a live rendition of “Gunpowder and Lead.”

The song is about a woman who’s preparing to kill her abusive husband – just so you know why she’s relating Brown, who infamously beat up his girlfriend Rihanna 3 years ago, to the shotgun.
