Miranda Kerr was involved in a rather serious car accident in Los Angeles the other day, when a driver smashed into her car. She’s been photographed in a neck brace hours after, as the photo attached to this article will confirm.

TMZ reports that Miranda was not at fault in the crash, since it was entirely caused by the other driver.

There is some indication he might have been under the influence but, as of now, the e-zine has not been able to confirm whether the rumors are true.

The supermodel’s publicist insists that she is fine, even though she’s in a lot of pain, having suffered injuries to her neck and back.

This would explain the neck brace, even though Miranda is trying to cover it up with a scarf.

“She is in a lot of pain, but really we are just glad it was not more serious,” Kerr’s rep says.

Neither Miranda’s son nor her husband Orlando Bloom was with her in the car when the accident happened.

“[Orlando is] taking very good care of her. He’s an amazing husband,” the publicist adds.

Further details on the crash or whether the other driver has been arrested are not available for the time being.

Miranda and Orlando welcomed their first child, son Flynn, in 2011. She’s been working steadily throughout the pregnancy, but more in recent months, earning for herself the unofficial nickname of the busiest mommy model in the industry.

Her relationship with Bloom has often been plagued by all kinds of rumors, with some voices saying just recently that they were pretty much over and only staying together for publicity.

All breakup rumors were put to rest on Oscars 2013 weekend last month, when the two walked the red carpet at the Vanity Fair party together, looking as in love as ever.
