A few years ago, Victoria’s Secret came out with an idea that combined two things women loved the most: expensive, quality and gorgeous lingerie and diamonds. Miranda Kerr is the latest to model one of these unique pieces.
The Fantasy Treasure Bra is estimated at $2.5 million (€1.8 million) and will mark Kerr’s entrance into the royalty of Victoria’s Secret since wearing
the bejeweled bra is a distinction bestowed only on the top models from the company.
The latest creation has 270 carats and is laden with white and yellow diamonds (including 3 very large stones hanging from between the breasts), pearls and other precious stones.
“The bra was created by London Jewellers in Long Island. It boasts almost 3,400 stones, of which there are 142 carats of yellow and white diamonds,”
Stuff.co.nz informs.
“The push-up piece is an aquamarine colour and also includes pearls and citrine stones which are all set in gold. The main stones in the bra are two eight carat white diamonds and a pair of yellow diamonds which are over 13 carats,” adds the same publication.
Each such bra for Victoria’s Secret is created by London Jewelers in Long Island but, despite the media hype they all receive and their undeniable beauty, none has ever been sold.
They do make plenty of appearances though, just in case some of the ladies would like to get a better look at them – and perhaps fantasize of wearing one, even if only for a few seconds.
Speaking of being the handpicked to model the latest creation, Kerr says she’s honored – and still a little bit in shock.
“It’s such an honor to wear the bra. And it’s such a piece of artwork! It’s absolutely stunning – it kind of feels a little mermaid-like – but I can’t believe I’m wearing $2.5 million on my chest,” she gushes.
