There are many PC peripherals out on the IT market, but only some of them really get attention when they are launched, because of some special feature or another, and the new device developed by Mionix really does seem to fit the bill.

When it comes to mice and keyboards, the design and special, albeit not really necessary, features are what determine their appeal, provided their prices are reasonable, all things considered.

Basically, there are many people in the world willing to pay a little more for a peripheral with higher aesthetic value than most, or with functionality boosts or whatnot.

In fact, high-end gamers and enthusiasts make a point of having as much sophistication as possible, so of course they will choose intricate peripherals, seeing as how the desktop isn't usually visible to gaze upon and monitors are preferred thin and sleek.

All in all, there are quite a number of end-users willing (even eager) to buy something like the keyboard Mionix is preparing.

The product in question goes by the name of Mionix Zibal 60 and is a mechanical keyboard.

Mechanical keyboards have garnered high favor with gamers because they are more durable than common products and deliver a better tactile feedback than membrane keyboards.

Speaking of tactile feedback, it is ensured, in this case, by Black Cherry MX illuminated mechanical switches (each individual key has its own such switch).

As one may have guessed, backlight illumination is given to each key in particular, a green glow to be more specific, so as to ensure visibility even in the darkest of nights.

Finally, this same mechanical design reduces the noise produced by the act of typing itself.

Unfortunately, no sort of information was provided as far as pricing goes, meaning that prospective purchasers still have to wait for the formal announcement.

Said official introduction will be done about five days from now, as shown by the teaser page that Mionix has set up here.
