Uganda's newly proposed law states that women who wear skirts above the knee, or show too much skin, corrupting the moral value of society, will be arrested. The Ethics and Integrity minister is also banning any promiscuous materials in the media that could cause excitement and affect people's moral compass.

Uganda, a highly conservative and strict country, considers that any corrupt behavior that includes temptation or stages of undress in women should be severely punished by law. The state's legislation is also prone to tightening the punishments for those engaging in same gender relations, considering the death penalty fit for some cases.

The new bill crafted by Uganda's officials outlaws anything that could be considered indecent, like clothing showing a woman's cleavage, buttocks or just attire that is too tight.

This particular law doesn't concern only local women, as the ban could extend to television and media, threatening to stop artists like Beyonce or Madonna to appear on public channels for being too morally-corrupt.

In order to officially pass the bill, it must be approved by the president first, as it is still in a project-phase. The anti-provocative behavior law has sparked a massive debate on the throwback brought upon the country, as a similar law was instated while dictator Idi Amin was ruling the country.

If the bill is accepted, it would be the first time a sub-Sahara African country will be passing such a law, directly affecting human rights, according to the National Turk. Activists from all over the country and outside its borders have criticized the new regulations accusing them of severely damaging the concept of women rights and free will.

Surprisingly, a big percentage of the population agrees with the bill and supports the banning of women clothing that can seduce men or put him into temptation. Provocative clothing and semi-nakedness is considered the road to an immoral society and Uganda cannot accept westernized sinful behavior to ruin the country's proud and conservative society.
