14 DAY TRIAL // LG Electronics didn't exactly release its latest product everywhere in the world, but thanks to the wonder of online translators and Flickr, it didn't need to. We found out all about it anyway.
The product in the photo up there is a Bluetooth headset, of all things. Or at least the control hub of one.
Called BTS1, the newcomer uses Bluetooth 3.0 to play music and accept calls from smartphones, laptops, tablets and even TVs, of all things.
The headset has a built-in clip, supports the aptX codec and bears a price of 59,000 won, which corresponds to roughly $53 / €40.
The battery life is of 8 hours. Not the longest I've ever heard of, but decent enough. Sufficient for a full work shift if nothing else.
The on-board controls handle volume, pause/play, song selection, call acceptance and ending, etc.
