Mini PCs aren't exactly a new occurrence on the IT market, but they aren't a common one either, especially powerful ones like the model Stealth.Com unveiled just a short time ago.

Mini PCs aren't really the sort of product that consumers end up buying, most of the time, since those users usually go for a full-sized desktop.

This is because of the customizability potential and the actual feel of having a nice and strong-looking machine.

Of course, some also (or only) buy an HTPC (home-theater personal computer), since multimedia capabilities are, sometimes, all that is required.

Still, there are some users (in other areas of the IT industry at least), that price compactness very highly.

For those prospective customers, Stealth.Com created the LPC-670 LittlePC, which measures 6.5 x 6 and less than 2 inches in height and yet still has a full desktop performance level, albeit lacking a discrete graphics adapter.

It uses one of multiple Intel Core i7/i5/i3 mobile processors, up to 750 GB of internal storage (provided by a 2.5-inch hard disk drive), a DVD/CD-RW ODD and up to 8 GB of DDR3 memory.

Additionally, Gigabit LAN is present, as are four USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi 802.11g, a Serial port, DVI-I, HDMI and audio.

The option to replace the HDD with a SSD exists for users that want more vibration and shock resistance, while a Blu-ray burner can be used instead of the solution mentioned above.

"The Stealth Model: LPC-670 is the most powerful and advanced small form Little PC we have ever offered. This full featured machine utilizes the new Intel Core i7/i5/i3 mobile processor family and we believe it competes for the most processing power per square inch of any personal computer available today." stated Ed Boutilier President & CEO of Stealth.com Inc.

The newcomer should perform well in mining, telecommunications, industrial, commercial, scientific, public safety, military, utility and research applications. The base price is $1,650.00 USD.
