Antec has recently introduced two new additions to its lineup of small form-factor computer cases designed exclusively to house motherboards using the mini-ITX form factor. The two new additions are known as the ISK 300-150 and the ISK 310-150, enclosures that combine an improved performance and "whisper quiet operation" with "extra stylish edge" for quiet computing. Antec built these two models with better power supplies and a low-noise and efficient cooling solution.
The ISK 300-150 is designed with a black, matte exterior, whereas the ISK 310-150 features an "exclusive silver multimedia-friendly front bezel." With these features making sure the style side is taken care of, Antec put inside its new products two upgraded 150W power supplies. These are meant to boost versatility and functionality, while the 80mm TriCool three-speed exhaust fan keeps the system cool in all situations.
The two chassis have three drive bays, out of which one 5.25-inch optical bay is external, with the other two being internal 2.5-inch HDD bays. The front panels conveniently features five USB 2.0 ports, as well as an eSATA port and connectors for Audio In and out. Further functionality may be added via a half-height expansion slot.
"Both the ISK 300-150 and ISK 310-150 deliver efficient cooling and versatility, all within a petite design that's perfect for Mini-ITX users," Scott Richards, senior vice president at Antec, said. "With an included 150-watt power supply and a refreshed look, these cases give users a reliable, compact and convenient system with the flexibility to fit in either an office or home environment."
Antec has already made the ISK 300-150 and the ISK 310-150 available through major retailers, e-tailers and distributors. Both have an estimated price tag of $99.95, come with Antec's Quality three-year limited warranty and may be seen in detail on the manufacturer's official
website.
