The retail edition of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 will arrive in European stores on June 28, and it even includes a free two-day Xbox Live Gold Trial.

Minecraft for the Xbox 360 has been a huge success, and developer 4J Studios has deployed a variety of updates ever since its release last spring.

Now, in order to give Xbox 360 owners who don't have an active Internet connection the chance to play the downloadable game, a retail edition is set to appear this summer.

Microsoft has now confirmed that the Minecraft for Xbox 360 retail edition will arrive in European stores on June 28.

Besides featuring the game and its different title updates, the package also has a free Xbox Live Gold trial for 48 hours, allowing buyers to experience the game's online cooperative mode, according to CVG.
