The upcoming retail edition of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 console has been pushed back to a June 4 release, as in order to include all the latest content, likely the upcoming Title Update 10, Microsoft decided to postpone its launch by a month.

Minecraft on the Xbox 360 has been a huge success, with millions upon millions of Xbox 360 owners buying the downloadable game.

Now, in the midst of errors caused by Title Update 9, Microsoft confirms, via Twitter, that the retail version of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 has been pushed back from the initial April 30 release date.

Instead, in order to include all the latest content, like Title Update 10 that should fix errors caused by the previous patch, the game will head into retail stores on June 4 in North America.

As of yet, it's unclear if this delay will also extend to the other markets where Minecraft on the Xbox 360 was supposed to get a retail release, like Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, and Taiwan, where the title already had a June launch date.
