4J Studios, the developer of Minecraft's console adaptations, has confirmed that it's just put the finishing touches on Minecraft for the PlayStation 3 and on the Skyrim Texture Pack DLC for the Xbox 360 Edition of the popular game.

Minecraft impressed millions of gamers from around the world on the PC, Mac, and Linux platforms a few years ago.

Since then, original developer Mojang has tasked 4J Studios with creating adaptations of the game for consoles like the Xbox 360, on which it appeared last year, and on the PS3, Xbox One, or PS4, on which it'll appear in the future.

The studio has just confirmed on Twitter that it's completed work on the Skyrim Texture Pack DLC for Minecraft on the Xbox 360, and that the PS3 edition of Minecraft is heading into testing as we speak.

As such, fans should expect the two releases to happen in the very near future.
