After lots of waiting and a lengthy certification period, Minecraft for Xbox 360 developer 4J Studios has confirmed that eagerly anticipated Title Update 9 for the game would be launched on April 5.

Minecraft on the Xbox 360 has been a huge success, with over 6 million console owners getting it on the platform.

In order to keep everyone satisfied, the studio that handled the porting process, 4J, has made sure to release lots of different updates with bug fixes and new content.

Fans are currently looking forward to Title Update 9, which is set to bring The End zone, as well as the Enderdragon and plenty of other changes.

Sadly, while the patch was supposed to appear last month, it seems that the certification took longer than expected.

Now, 4J has confirmed on Twitter that certification is complete and that Title Update 9 for Minecraft on the Xbox 360 would be available for download on April 5.

The patch is completely free for all owners of the game on the Xbox 360.
