The development team at Mojang and 4J Studios are delivering three new images taken from the upcoming Halo Mash-Up pack for the Xbox 360 version of the indie hit Minecraft, which is set to be launched soon for all interested players.

In an official blog post, the two companies state, "Are you excited for the Halo Mash-Up Pack? Because we sure are! So why are you still reading? We’re going to be releasing more info during this week but here’s some details and screenshots that might help answer a lot of the questions that we’ve been getting."

Those who pick up the Halo themes pack for Minecraft will be able to use texture sets that are based on the classic shooter and Master Chief, special menus and user interface, and 40 new character skins.

There are also plenty of music tracks that have been drawn from all the Halo video games and recreations of locations including Blood Gulch, Sandtrap, Valhalla and more.

At the moment, 343 Industries is working on an entirely new entry in the series, Halo 5: Guardians, which is set to be launched in 2015 on the Xbox One, introducing the new chapter in the history of Master Chief.
