4J Studios, developer of the console versions of Mojang's popular sandbox survival game Minecraft, has announced that the PlayStation 4 port is now back at Sony, undergoing final testing.

The PS4 port ran into a bit of a pickle last week, when Sony turned it down due to some remaining bugs, which meant that the dev had to push back its release date and work on it a little longer.

However, it seems that it didn't take 4J Studios too long to fix it, and now the product is back in testing at Sony, according to a tweet on the company's account.

In addition to this, the company has also revealed that it was "down to the last few bugs with #minecraftXbox1 – hoping to hand it over to Microsoft by the end of the week!" This makes it highly likely that the two next-gen versions of Mojang's game will come out around the same time.

The PlayStation Vita version of the game, that was initially supposed to come out at the same time the other two ports would, will have to undergo some more tweaks unfortunately, as the team has revealed that they still have some kinks to iron out before handing it over to Sony for certification, which means that Vita fans will have to wait a little longer.
