4J Studios, the studio in charge of porting Minecraft onto home consoles like the PS4, Xbox One, or PS3, has confirmed that the game is now playable on all of these platforms but that there are still plenty of bug fixes and issues to be tackled until they're ready for launch.

Minecraft delighted millions of PC owners a few years ago, taking the world by storm and making developer Mojang a serious independent studio.

Since then, 4J Studios has brought Minecraft onto the Xbox 360 and is currently working on releasing it for a variety of new consoles, including the current-gen PS3, but also the next-gen PS4 and Xbox One.

Now, the developer has confirmed on Twitter that Minecraft is already running on these three devices but that, as of yet, there are still plenty of bugs and issues that need to be solved.

After that stage is complete, the studio will gladly share release dates for all of the different Minecraft versions.
