The development team at Mojang announces that it has released a new snapshot for the PC version of Minecraft, labeled 13w18c, which is designed to eliminate a number of crashes and other bugs introduced by 13w18a.

The fixes include:

- Enchanted Books dont show what tab is it - Wrong particle texture when changing texture packs ingame - Skins messing up - Breaking Item Frames causes a null pointer exception and crash. - Internal exception: java.lang.NullPointerException - Coal blocks do not burn away - Coal Blocks and Note Blocks - Game crashes on startup

A fuller and rather long list of changes can be found on the official blog of the indie title.

Minecraft on the PC is getting constant updates from the developers, who are also collecting the fixes into rarer updates that are launched on the Xbox 360.
