A Minecraft developer teased some new, skinnier and more clean-looking character models that might be added to the block-stacking survival game sometime in the future.

Developer Mojang's Jens Bergensten took to Twitter to deliver the game-altering news, stating that the team is experimenting with a possible future feature that will make the in-game characters' arms 3 pixels wide, instead of the current 4 pixels width.

If the feature does make the cut, players will be able to switch between the old fat arms and the new slim ones from their player profile.

Although the change is far from ground-breaking, some models actually do look better with slimmer arms, although it's going to be difficult to believe that they're going to be able to swing giant swords, shovels, and pickaxes with the same might with those scrawny puppies.

All that remains now is to see the reaction of the game's millions upon millions of users. Mojang announced earlier this month that the Windows PC and Mac versions of its game surpassed the 16 million milestones, raising the total sales to over 54 million units, across all platforms.

Minecraft is scheduled to also come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation Vita platforms this August, with the next-gen platforms benefiting from worlds that are 36 times bigger than the ones found on last-gen systems.
