Mind Reader Video Warns Against Posting Financial Info Online

This video features Dave, the clairvoyant who warms up to people using personal info they had posted on social networking sites.

After getting the victims to believe he is legit, he can then move on to getting sensitive financial information from them.

The video was produced by Febelfin (The Belgian Financial Sector Federation) for their safe online banking campaign. The makers chose random people off the streets of Belgium, targeting young people that are much more likely to post their financial info online.

It proved a skilled scammer posing as, of all things, a mind reader, can get them to reveal even more about themselves – real estate transactions, credit card balances etc.

The video has already been featured on Reddit, Mashable and Gawker and has received almost 80,000 views on YouTube since it was posted yesterday.
