Mimi Faust, the protagonist of a huge scandal this week after the leak of a less than flattering private video in which she fools around with boyfriend Nikko Smith, isn't hiding out in shame. Faust is owing up to the scandal and was actually spotted on a night out with Smith, sharing some definite PDAs.

In an interview with HollywoodLife, Mimi opens up about the leak and she's strangely unapologetic. “I'm done with that,” she bluntly states, claiming that she's in no way ashamed that the video has made its way into the public eye.

“I was thinking about me and my family and doing it because I want to,” she is quoted as saying, while at the same time admitting that “Ain’t no shame in this game here.”

The story goes that the video, which is due for release next month, was found in Mimi's home and stolen by a certain someone. That someone then took the tape to Steve Hirsch, the founder of Vivid Entertainment, who then promptly announced he was going to sell it to the public.

But before doing that, Steve contacted Mimi and asked her to sign a contract that would ensure she would get paid a percentage from the sales. Maybe that's why Mimi is not so cool and calm about the future of her career.

Of course, the rumors fail to address the issue of why Mimi had such a lewd recording lying around and also that fact that it seems to be a professional shot and not an amateur, one as is the case in such instances. There's a cameraman, lighting, make-up, and different sets, all of which indicate that this was a staged event.

There was even talk that the producers of Mimi's reality show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” even gave their blessing for the thing to come out, so there is little chance that she'll be getting fired anytime soon.

Predictably, the public has responded very well to the scandal and there is talk that Mimi's adult performance is going to be bigger than Farrah Abraham's similar recording, which has already made her millions.

So far, it's being reported that American hardware stores are running out of shower curtain rods similar to that portrayed in Mimi's video that seems to be extra strong, since it allows the reality starlet to perform some interesting moves on it. Home Depot in particular has received the brunt of the odd shopping fad.
