The MacBook Air is the first laptop that Milliamp LTD has added to its wide range of repair / replacement services. The kits come in 5200 mAh and 5400 mAh versions, with replacement tools and instructions also being available for purchase.

The MacBook Air battery replacement service now comes in the form of a kit, enabling owners of a MacBook Air to replace the battery themselves. Milliamp offers the option of sending in your laptop and the professional technicians at Milliamp LTD will replace the battery for you, should you not be accustomed to computer maintenance.

“We’re very thrilled about it.” Anthony Magnabosco, owner of the web-based company and its website, ipodjuice.com., said. “We recognize there is demand for quality iPod and iPhone repairs, as well as MacBook Air battery replacements. [...] Nobody enjoys the inconvenience when something breaks. Our goal is not only to satisfy the customer, but to make them feel a little better about whatever happened to their iPod, iPhone, or MacBook Air laptop as well.” Mr. Magnabosco added.

However, if you already have a battery and just need a set of tools that is appropriate to pop open the MBA hood and replace it, as well as a set of detailed instructions to walk you through the battery replacement process, you can get the “Instructions and Tools Only” for an additional 5 bucks. The set includes a blue iOpener tool, a metal Phillips-head screwdriver, while the instructions come with colored imagery.

MacBook Air users whose battery has just died on them and need an immediate replacement can also rejoice. “[...] We understand that our customers have different levels of urgency when it comes to shipping your order. That's why we offer several domestic and international same-day shipping options during check-out,” Milliamp argued.
