Milla Jovovich is so unhappy with the way Summit Entertainment is handling promotion of her latest film, “The Three Musketeers,” that she’s taking to Twitter to vent. The studio is killing its own movie by not promoting it properly, she says.

Milla stars opposite Orlando Bloom, Matthew Macfadyen and Luke Evans in the film based on the classic popular novel by the same name, which is now running in many theaters across the world.

However, she feels Summit, the movie studio behind the film, is not giving it a fair chance in theaters because it’s not promoting it properly.

Milla even believes Summit may have gotten “lazy” in light of the massive success it’s been enjoying for a couple of years with the “Twilight” films.

“Also, ‘3 musketeers’ opens in the US 2night! Do you think ppl know abt the movie? Ask your friends! Do they know it’s a fun family film?” the actress asks her followers on the social networking website.

“Are ‘summit’ promoting it as a family adventure movie? Or are they resting on their laurels from ‘twilight’ n making no effort? Let me know!” she further says.

Shortly afterwards, Milla returns with a tweet that seems to indicate she’s made up her mind about the whole Summit situation: the movie studio is guilty of not promoting the film properly in the US.

Consequently, if “Musketeers” flops at the box office, it will be entirely on Summit’s head, she seems to say.

“I think ‘summit’ hve swept ‘3 Musketeers’, a grt family adventure film, under the rug in the US. Shame on them. SHAME ON YOU ‘SUMMIT’,” writes the actress.

“‘3 musketeers’ is a fun family adventure, not ‘resident evil’ as a period piece. Ppl don’t even know that they can bring their kids to c it,” Milla further says.

“It’s the opposite of PA3. One is horror. The other is grt 4 families n kids! That’s NOT HOW IT’S BEEN PROMOTED in the US,” she says.

As of now, Summit hasn’t said anything about Milla’s accusations on Twitter.
