Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are engaged to be married but, as of late, they have more in common than just the gorgeous diamond ring Liam proposed with. Liam unveiled his brand new tattoo on Twitter – and it goes perfectly with the one Miley got earlier this year.

By now, it’s almost hard to keep count of the many tattoos the former Disney darling got over the years, but this one stands out for being the most recent and, if we’re not mistaken, the largest in size as well.

It’s placed on the inside of her arm and reads, “So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

As you may have guessed, it’s a quote from Theodore Roosevelt’s “Citizenship in a Republic” speech.

Liam’s too is a quote lifted from the same speech: in fact, it’s the very line preceding the one that Miley got.

“If he fails, at least fails while daring greatly,” his brand new piece reads.

The actor himself pointed to the connection between the two by posting the photo also attached to this article on his Instagram account, with his and Miley’s arm side by side to show off their new pieces.

Liam and Miley met in 1010 on the set of “The Last Song,” which, unfortunately, failed to cause any lasting impression on film critics.

They fell in love and started dating even before the production was done shooting, becoming almost inseparable in a few months’ time.

As these things go, they drifted apart after a while and went on a break but, after some time off, were back together, more in love than ever.

Liam popped the big question to Miley in June this year. Despite rumors to the contrary, Miley has been telling the press she has no intention of rushing down the aisle, thinking of making this into a very long engagement.
