On her 19th birthday, Miley Cyrus proves that she's done a lot of growing up lately, and not just in the sense that she can choose how racy her image is now. Her latest video, for “Liberty Walk,” is a touching tribute to the 99%.

Comprised of news footage from the Occupy movement that spread from Wall Street to major cities around the world, the video is the perfect companion for the song, which is lifted off “Can't Be Tamed” and was remixed by Rock Mafia.

It kicks off with a powerful message, from Miley to her fans and ultimately the people in the streets.

“This is dedicated to the thousands of people who are standing up for what they believe in,” reads the message.

“It's a liberty walk, walk. Say goodbye to the people who tied you up... Free yourself, slam the door, not a prisoner anymore,” Miley sings.
