Fans should not overreact because he smoked a little weed

The Beliebers, Justin Bieber’s fans, are taking the photos of him smoking weed, which emerged over the weekend, a little too tragically. A new, very worrying Twitter trend is apparently “encouraging” them to cut themselves to show just how upset they are because of the photos.

Under the hashtag #Cut4Bieber, fans have been posting photos of themselves with cuts on their hands or arms, as a means to let their idol know that they do not approve of his newly revealed habit, various ongoing reports say.

However, as of the time of writing, only funny pictures are found under that hashtag.

That it was once something serious is confirmed by Miley Cyrus’ feed, which includes a retweet from Official Cancer.

“#cutforbieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about. There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful,” it reads.

Miley, who is a friend of Justin’s, has been very vocal on the issue since a paparazzo was hit by a car and killed as he was chasing Justin’s car around town, in the hope of getting a pic of him smoking pot.

At the time, she tweeted that the media should not blame Justin for the tragedy because he had no hand in it: it’s not his fault he’s constantly hounded by the paparazzi, she said, as we also reported.

Miley believes, just like Justin, that a new anti-paparazzi law could prevent further tragedies like this from happening.

Speaking of the photos that led to this terribly sick hashtag (which some say was created by Internet trolls and has already resulted in the death of 3 young girls, but we can’t verify that), TMZ reports that Justin believes they should have never been released without his consent.

Moreover, he has this “rule” which says that, whoever parties with him must agree on the spot that the photos they take rightfully belong to him. If so, who leaked these incriminating pics violated his rights.
