If Sinead O’Connor wants to talk with Miley Cyrus and offer her advice on how not to let herself be pimped by the music industry, she has to take a number and wait, because Miley is too busy for this drama. Luckily, she’s not too busy for Twitter.

The pop star has responded to Sinead’s open letter, in which she urges her to stop showing this much skin because she’s distracting from the very thing she’s supposed to be promoting (her music), with a few scathing remarks on Twitter.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones, Miley seems to be saying. Or, you know, people who have mental issues should not offer advice to others.

“Before Amanda Bynes.... There was…,” Miley wrote on her Twitter, including a screenshot of Sinead O’Connor’s Twitter feed of a couple of years back.

At the time, she was tweeting about needing a psychiatrist urgently, to give her her medication without having to go to the hospital. She was, more or less, shopping online for prescription drugs.

Then, obviously not done, Miley tweeted a photo of Sinead’s now-infamous 1992 moment, when she ripped a photo of the Pope on live TV. She captioned it “#SNL,” so we guess we should see a skit about the feud when she hosts the show this weekend.

Speaking of SNL, Miley also uses the opportunity to remind Sinead that she’s simply too busy these days to attend to such unimportant stuff as a celebrity feud.

“Sinead. I don't have time to write you an open letter cause Im hosting & performing on SNL this week. So if youd like to meet up and talk lemme know in your next letter. :),” she writes.

Sinead is yet to respond. Considering how seriously she takes these things, Miley isn’t entirely wrong for expecting another letter.
