Tish Cyrus reveals that she's not the biggest fan of the pasties

Can somebody stop Miley Cyrus, please? Miley seems to have gotten it into her head that the only way she can really shock people and stand out in crowds is to lose as many of her clothes as possible. If there are many celebrities out there who have opted for some questionable outfits at red carpet events before, Miley Cyrus upstaged them all when she appeared at the Alexander Wang fashion show in nothing but ice cream coned-shaped pasties on her chest.

Page Six has spoken to Miley Cyrus' mom and she declared she was not a fan of the particular outfit which she claims she's worn before. “She’s done it once before, and I’ve said before that’s my least favorite outfit. Not just on her, but on anyone.”

Tish Cyrus dreads the pasties outifit, Miley doesn't care

It turns out that Tish here is not a fan of the burlesque like her daughter Miley is and that she just doesn't get her daughter's fashion sense and complexity when it comes to her fashion statement. From where we're sitting, it's all pretty clear though: lose clothes, get attention.

Tish can't really complain though since she had plenty of time to quell Miley's fashion outbursts when she was growing up but instead chose to fuel her creative efforts and now the entire world has to see the “Wrecking Ball” singer flashing her womanly parts like she's on a beach in Saint Tropez.

Miley Cyrus jeopardizes the fashion industry with this controversial new trend

We dread to think what must have gone through Miley's mind when getting ready for the party. Of course, since other notable names in the entertainment industry were going to be there, Miley needed to upstage them all.

So, along with her ice cream pasties, she also added a pair of hot pants and glitter on her skin because nothing says “classy” like body glitter. Can you think of another particular category of women who uses body glitter on a regular basis? Hint: it rhymes with dipper.

One thing becomes painfully evident if Miley's shirtless and braless trend picks up – the fashion industry is going to go into shock as sales for women's tops are going to plummet around the world. After all, everyone likes to let it all hang out once in a while, so why not do it on the red carpet of all places?

Probably the only good thing about Miley's antics at the moment is the fact that she's promoting a healthy body image. Sure, she's not “round,” or “curvy,” but Miley is neither artificially enhanced. No implants for her and we commend that. It's nice that she's proud of her body and everything, but does she have to stick it in our faces all the time?
