14 DAY TRIAL // Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth confirmed their engagement at the beginning of this month, but it certainly looks like they have no plans of making this a long engagement: they might be married by this time next week.
According to various reports online, Miley and Liam are not preparing for a late summer / fall wedding. They will actually be tying the knot this weekend.
“Super lazy Sunday! Can’t wait for next week! It’ll be filled with happiness =]” Miley tweeted over the weekend, sending celebrity bloggers and glossies into a frenzy of speculation as to whether she's getting ready to walk down the aisle so soon.
If she were, no one would probably blame her for wanting to keep the wedding a secret from the press considering how hounded she is by the paparazzi on a daily basis, when she's out running errands or going to the gym.
However, when they confirmed the engagement they mentioned no date for the ceremony so, for all we know, they could be getting ready for it as we speak.
If so, this could also possibly confirm a report that came out over the weekend, saying Liam was quite in a hurry to marry and start a family.
The handsome Australian actor wants to have babies right now but Miley isn't in such a rush, because she believes she needs another 5 years or so to work on her acting career before being able to take some time out to settle down and have kids.
At least, that's what sources are saying, as we also noted at the time.
As for the wedding rumors, Gossip Cop reached out to a rep of Hemsworth's to see whether they could get something a bit more official than just speculation based on a tweet.
“Haven’t heard that [rumor],” says the publicist, adding that Liam is in New Orleans working on a new movie and will only be “back in LA for a night next week to receive an award from Australians in Film on the 27th.”
Then again, the same thing happened when the first engagement rumors started making the rounds, so who knows.
