14 DAY TRIAL // Pop star Miley Cyrus has had to cancel yet another concert from her Bangerz tour, after being rushed to the hospital for what is reported to have been a sudden and very severe allergic reaction to medication. As we speak, Miley is still in hospital, as doctors have ordered her to bed rest.
She tweeted the photo above, with a message saying that “Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me.” In a previous tweet, she apologized to fans for canceling the show, trying to make them understand that she was just as sorry as they were for not being able to go ahead with it as scheduled.
“Kansas I promise Im as [heartbroken] as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel [worse] than I already do,” she said.
While some celebrity bloggers have their tinfoil hats on already and are cooking up theories as to the “real” reason for Miley’s hospitalization (hint: they all have to do with drugs, and not the kind you can buy in a pharmacy), TMZ reports that the allergy attack occurred at the Sprint Center arena, where she was supposed to be performing later.
It also claims to have it on good authority that Miley took some antibiotics and was taken ill almost instantly. Just hours before, she went shopping with her mother and was in excellent health and spirits, the same insiders reveal.
This is just another setback in a rather long series for Miley. As if the early controversy around the Bangerz tour were not enough, just recently, she was also hit pretty badly by the death of one her favorite pet dogs.
Shortly after his passing, Miley got so emotional on stage that she had to stop performing to collect herself and wipe away her tears. She also made sure she paid due tribute to the pooch, erecting a giant statue in his likeness on stage and performing to it, and dedicating for him a song.
Because she was taking his death so badly, her mother bought her another puppy but, after a few days, Miley gave it away because, she told her fans on social media, it was too soon to have a new one.
No word yet on how long she will have to stay in the hospital now but, knowing Miley, she will probably let her fans know of her return on stage the moment she learns about it too.
