Miley Cyrus is getting ready to hit the road with her critically-panned album “Can’t Be Tamed.” While she’s excited about going to South America and Australia, she won’t be touring the US – because she’s getting no love from fans here.

The Disney star made the announcement during a recent interview cited by The Huffington Post: she simply doesn’t want to tour the US because of all the negativity here coming her way.

Miley says she wants to take her Gypsy Heart Tour only to those countries where she’s welcomed with open arms and this clearly doesn’t apply to the US.

“I just think right now America has gotten to a place where I don’t know if they want me to tour or not,” she says by means of an explanation.

“Right now I just want to go to the places where I am getting the most love and Australia and South America have done that for me,” the singer adds.

“Kind of going to the places where I get the most love. Don’t want to go anywhere where I don’t feel completely comfortable with it,” Miley further says.

Not even the language barrier can make her be less excited about the upcoming tour: Miley doesn’t speak Spanish but she’s not worried about going to South America, because all measures have been taken to ensure everything goes smoothly.

“I speak zero Spanish. I actually failed Spanish so I will have someone with me making sure I can get through my way,” she says.

She’s also looking forward to going to Australia, where her latest single, “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” was received very warmly – and she can’t wait to perform it live.

As we also noted a while back, Miley returned to Twitter, also as part of her preparations for the tour: she’s using the @GypsyHeartTour to keep in touch with fans while she’s on the road.
