It should come as no surprise to you that Miley is a very independent woman who doesn't appreciate people telling her what to do. After all, she single-handedly masterminded her reinvention, which has seen her rise on new heights of fame in the industry.

The National Enquirer has gotten word of an incident in which Miley Cyrus, the independent woman, allegedly went berserk at a woman when she was told to refrain from striking her signature tongue-out pose for a photo with a fan.

The account goes as follows: Miley was in a San Fernando Valley pet shop getting toys for her new dog, when she was approached by a woman in her 40s, who politely asked if the singer would pose for a photo with her 12-year-old son who was a fan.

Miley obliged and wrapped her arms around the boy, getting ready for the camera to click. But she soon stuck out her mouth for her signature pose. The woman taking the photo stopped and grouched, “Could you put your tongue back in your mouth!…My word, you look like a starving Mastiff!”

This is the point where Miley lost her manners along with her temper and flipped out screaming, “‘Fine, I’m doing you a favor, but you want to be rude…I’m outta here (sic).” Having said these words, Miley took her cue and left the shop, leaving the woman red-faced.

This sounds like something unusual for the “Wrecking Ball” singer. Though she's a fire cracker on stage and in her personal life, Miley always had the biggest respect for her fans and often went out of her way to please them.

To storm out of a store just because she'd been asked to put back the tongue in her mouth is a bit of a stretch, but then again, Cyrus had had public outbursts before. And it's not like it's the first time that she's been questioned on the whole tongue-wagging thing.

She explained at one point that she stuck out her tongue in photos because she was actually shy and she didn't know what to do when people approached her with a camera. It could be argued that if she were indeed a shy person, she should have never gotten into show business in the first place.

Since then it has become her signature pose, so it's understandable if she were to freak out if someone asked her to put it back in her mouth.
