She was never fat but she did have periods when she gained a few more pounds. Even so, Miley Cyrus is now being bullied on Twitter for her weight and this kind of behavior, she says, has to stop before people will get hurt.

Miley, who has been very open about her fluctuating weight (but, again, was never fat), is taking to her Twitter page to point out to her fans, followers and bullies that picking on girls for their weight leads to eating disorders.

“By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people. i love MYSELF & if you could say the same,” Miley writes.

With this tweet, she includes a photo of late anorexic model Isabelle Caro, who became famous when she took part in a very shocking and effective campaign against eating disorders.

Miley's next tweet is just a link to a photo of Marilyn Monroe on the beach, in a white bathing suit. The caption reads, “PROOF that you can be adored by thousands of men, even when your thighs touch.”

On the same social networking website, Miley comes to the defense of her good friend Demi Lovato who, shortly after she came out of rehab where she sought treatment for emotional issues and an eating disorder, gained some weight.

Demi too has been attacked on Twitter in recent months over her weight, but Miley says she's determined to “destroy any one that ever calls you the F word” again – and, yes, she's talking about “fat.”

Lovato has an insane curvy body, her friend says. As a matter of fact, this is the figure girls should aspire to, since stick thin will never be attractive – and even less so when it comes at the cost of one's health.

“SO hot! I don't wanna be shaped like a girl I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man wont mind either ;),” writes Miley.
