14 DAY TRIAL // Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz tour has arrived in Europe, with the former Hannah Montana star performing in Milan, Italy, over the weekend. It was then that the video embedded below was shot: this video is now the reason why many Selena Gomez fans are upset.
You probably can't tell from the low-quality clip, but Miley is actually holding a cardboard cutout of Selena Gomez. Check out the photo above for confirmation.
Reports online say she picked it up from a fan in the audience, danced with it for a while and then tossed it back into the crowd. The same reports note that this was Miley’s way of “dissing” her former Disney mate, for a reason that is still to be made clear.
To add insult to injury, while this “dance” with “Selena” took place, Miley was performing the song “FU” and no, you don’t really get any points if you guess what those letters stand for. Hence the conclusion that she was “dissing” her former friend.
Of course, there’s also the chance that Miley was simply looking for things to get people talking and, more importantly, to pay attention to her. It’s worked wonderfully, particularly with Selena’s fans, who see this stunt of Miley's as the biggest form of disrespect. Selena would never do this to her, they say.
Then again, Selena would probably never wear the kind of outfits Miley wears in concert, or do or say outrageous things like her just to get people riled up. Different strokes, you know.
