Miley Cyrus has been promoting her new single, “We Can’t Stop,” for several weeks non-stop, and the time has come now for her to reveal the name and release date of the album it will be included on.
Because she’s very much unlike regular pop stars, Miley has opted to ditch the traditional channel for making such an announcement, i.e. via a press release or a statement through a publicist, and she’s dropping major clues about it on Twitter.
Her feed reveals that her album is called “Bangerz,” with the former Hannah Montana star saying, “If you don't know why my record is called BANGERZ you'll know as soon as you hear it. Nothin but #BANGERZ.”
Above is the official artwork.
“Trend #votemiley & imma let ya know when ya getting BANGED #bangerz,” she also says. She follows that up with “#BANGERZ #Oct8th.”
A tracklist for the album is yet to be revealed but, from bits and pieces available online, we know that it will included collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald and Future.
