Like we've been telling you for some time now you should be expecting more and more tablets boasting large displays to appear on the market. Milagrow has partnered up with popular retailer Snapdeal in order to bring to the Indian market a tablet featuring an atypical 9.4-inch display, dubbed the TabTop M8 Pro 3G.

This is the company’s first Android tablet to pack a quad-core processor, so you might want to take a minute and consider it.

Due to the increased number of new phablet products that have been launching on the market, as of late, tablet manufacturers are being forced to increase the screen size of their offerings, in the hopes of better delimiting this particular device segment.

As the line between tablet and smartphone is quite blurred, more and more tablets with large displays such as these are going to be making a debut into the world.

You’d think that the company would like to impress with its first Android quad-core tablet, but sadly the 9.4-incher offers the bland resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, so it should come as a consolation the display is coated with a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.

As FoneArena reports, Milagrow has added a 1.6 GHz quad-core Rockchip 3188 ARM Cortex A8 processor , under the hood, with quad-core Mali 400 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 64GB via microSD card).

Other highlights of the maxi-tablet include dual cameras (5MP rear snapper with LED flash and 2MP on the back), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth, HDMI, USB OTG, 3G connectivity via SIM card slot or external dongles.

Regardless, the slate does not provide voice calling capabilities, but we guess that would be odd anyway, taking into consideration this is a pretty big tablet.

The slate is powered by a pretty hefty 6500 mAh battery and Milagrow promises users will be able to use the device up to 12 hours thanks to it, which is pretty impressive.

Milagrow Founder Rajeev Karwal commented on the launch of the new tablet.

“We are excited to launch the new M8 Pro 3G. This TabTop PC packs performance of the latest quadcore technology with an unrivalled feature set of mobile sensors and user interface with an optimum battery life. The TabTop Pc is specially designed for users who demand serious computing power from their mobile devices and can be used by professionals on the go and also for leisure purposes such as video streaming.”

Bottom line, the slate’s specification list doesn't look too shabby, and except for the average resolution, we have a pretty worthy product on our hands.

Anyway, the Milagrow M8 Pro 3G is priced at a special Rs. 19,999 / $329 / €238 for the first week and will sell for Rs. 25,990 / $428 / €309 afterwards, so if you're interested, hurry up to get it for the discounted rate.
