Fresh reports suggest that the two are, indeed, more than friends

Precisely one week ago, word got out that good friends Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher had moved their relationship into a different territory, having started going out as a couple. Various media outlets are now confirming the romance.

TMZ, for instance, has photos of the two after spending the weekend together for some R&R.

On a more or less serious tone, the celebrity e-zine / paparazzi agency notes that some things about the two would indicate, beyond a doubt, that they're dating.

Whether that's really the case is, of course, debatable.

“Do 'friends' take weekend trips to the beach, go shopping for flowers and hit Starbucks together? 'Cause that's what Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were up to this weekend,” TMZ writes.

“The former '70s Show' costars were spotted in Carpinteria, CA together – a small beach community near Santa Barbara. Friends don't let friends rock red socks with shorts... so, they gotta be dating... right?” asks the same media outlet.

At the same time, People magazine reports that the two spent a very romantic weekend together. Sources confirm for the glossy that Mila and Ashton are dating.

“He was so in love with her for a while when they worked together. He thought she was a goddess, was always talking about how beautiful she is. But she was with Macaulay [Culkin] for a lot of that time and also just generally gave off a not interested vibe,” one source says.

“It never happened, but I'm not surprised by this – at all,” the insider continues.

A second source, who claims to be just as informed as the other, stresses that, while there is nothing but love and respect between the two, Ashton is “not looking for anything serious right now,” which means he and Mila are just hanging out, no strings attached.

A publicist has already denied the two are anything more than friends but, as the report above makes it obvious, no one seems to be buying it.
