Mila Kunis has not made a public appearance in several months, because she’s taken some time off to be with her daughter with fiancé Ashton Kutcher, Isabelle Wyatt, who was born 2 months ago. She made her first TV appearance on The Late Show with Craig Ferguson the other night – and she was positively glowing.

The new mommy is coming back in the spotlight to promote her cameo in the “Annie” remake.

In the interview, as you can see in the two videos embedded below, she talks about her teenage years and the method her parents came up with of keeping her grounded, and of course, about adjusting to her new life as a mommy.

Mila has a blast

Mila doesn’t talk that much or that often about her personal life, so you know that when she does, she really means it. This interview is no exception: she even says that it’s her favorite show because, even though producers run the usual pre-interview over the phone to establish some of the questions that will be asked and their answers, Ferguson doesn’t go by them.

She also gushes a bit about her daughter with Ashton, saying what all parents in this situation say: she is amazing. She will also be “daddy’s problem” when she grows up into a teenager that will want to go on dates.

Speaking of teenage years, Mila talks a bit about hers and how her parents kept her grounded by making her have a regular job at Rite-Aid even though she was on the hit series “That ‘70s Show” and had been working in the industry since she was a kid.

“My parents were awesome,” Mila laughs as she recalls how they took away her car keys after she did something bad (she won’t say what it was) and she had to commute by public transport from the studio where they shot the sitcom to the same Rite-Aid her mom also worked at.

You can tell that Mila is having a blast during the interview and that she’s off her guard: in the months before confirming the pregnancy and later on, when the pregnancy advanced, she was usually very stiff during interviews, probably because she didn’t want to be pressed for details about the engagement and / or the baby.

Mila has lost the pregnancy weight, glossies rave

What’s getting the most attention right now from this interview is the fact that Mila seems to have lost most of the pregnancy weight in just 2 months. She’s even wearing a little black dress with cutouts on the sides of her abdomen, which has sparked some talk about how she must have already gotten her abs back after the baby.

Mila doesn’t discuss the weight loss in this interview; she must know that if she did, she would encourage even more speculation on how she did it, if she’s on a diet, if she works out, the lot.

However, considering she admitted in an earlier interview to wanting to have a natural birth and she showed a very laidback approach to pregnancy and the weight gain that comes with it, she is probably shifting the extra pounds naturally too: by eating right, breastfeeding, and staying as active as possible.
