It's going to be hard to believe that the video found at the end of this article is not a prank, but it seems that Mike Tyson, former heavyweight champion of the world, has found a new career: that of starring in an animated mystery series.

What's an animated mystery series you ask? Do you remember Scooby Doo? Yes, it's exactly like that, except with Mike Tyson and a foul-mouthed talking pigeon. The show is called “Mike Tyson Mysteries” and features other colorful characters such as the Marquess of Queensbury and Mike's teenage Asian adopted daughter.

The strangest thing is that Mike Tyson actually agreed to lend his voice to the animated character that shares his likeness and name, proving that he has a sense of humor (something which he previously demonstrated with his cameo role in “The Hangover”).

The new series is going to be debuted on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim channel this fall, and based on initial reviews, it seems to be worth watching. If just to see Mike Tyson become a crime-busting hero and for the smart quips of the pigeon with an alcohol issue.

For children who grew up watching Scooby Doo, the references of this new cartoon are just too many and too funny not to notice. Did we mention there's also a mystery van?
