14 DAY TRIAL // This year's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco has been a great source of news, playing host to numerous announcements and many reveals and allowing participants to get their hands on many games ahead their launch.
It was also the occasion on which Comcept revealed another Mighty No.9 video, offering more alpha gameplay footage and introducing the full cast of the upcoming platformer, from Mighty No. 1 up to the character that lends the game its name.
Starring Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune trying out the game, the new video showing moments of gameplay that reveal Beck's shooting and dashing, jumping and climbing through the environment and the effects of his actions on enemies (usually resulting in their demise), interwoven with concept art and descriptions of Beck's brothers and sisters.
Here are their descriptions in case you missed them while watching the video:
Mighty No. 1: The flames covering this power fighter act as both offense and defense. Priding himself on close combat, he grabs the enemy and detonates his body, wrestling victory with his overhwelming destructive force.
Mighty No. 2: Wields the ability to freeze absolutely everything. He utilizes both water and ice at will, and likes to play with his prey on the battlefield.
Mighty No. 3: Her lightning rods remotely control the electricity she emits. Her combat style allwos her to use this power to not only attack, but control machinery, cause short circuits and more.
Mighty No. 4: He boasts the greatest brute strength among the Mighty Numbers. Coupled with his excavation abilities, he can instantly reform the terrain around him to his liking.
Mighty No. 5: With spray from his Gatling gun and relentless bombardment from his head-mounted revolver, he obliterates all enemies. He is also quite resourceful and acts as the control tower for the Mighty Numbers.
Mighty No. 6: Specializing in high mobility, he moves freely through the sky. Be it air raids or reconnaissance, he best demonstrates his abilities when working in tandem with the other Mighty Numbers.
Mighty No. 7: He couples the speed of a ninja with masterful swordplay. No matter how durable or how massive the enemy, all are cut down before his blade.
Mighty No. 8: Veiled in optic camouflage, this elusive sniper ascertains enemy positions with his high-powered radar and picks them off. There's no escape once he has you in his sights.
Mighty No. 9: Code Name: Beck. The newest addition to the Mighty Numbers. His timidity always slows down his siblings on the battlefield, but inside him lies a hidden power...
Mighty No. 9 currently has an estimated delivery window of April 2015.
