Ubisoft has announced the three different editions that will be available to those who want to purchase the upcoming Might & Magic Heroes VII strategy game.

The publisher has released a new trailer for the game, showing off its neat visuals and some of the strategic action that players will be taking part in soon, once developer Limbic Entertainment finishes hammering away at the title.

The video also shows that gamers will be able to buy Might & Magic Heroes VII in three different flavors.

The standard edition of the title will be available both in retail and as a digital download, the Collector's Edition will pack quite a few goodies, and the Digital Deluxe Edition will be a slightly toned-down variant of the Collector's Edition.

The Collector's Edition will include a copy of the game, a collector's box, a 26-cm figurine showing Yvan posing after a victory, a 96-page artbook, the official game soundtrack, two litographies, and a fully customized tarot game.

The pack will also include some additional digital content, among which Solmyr, a new hero, and an extra scenario map for owners to enjoy.

The Digital Delux Edition will come with the full game, a digital edition of the game's soundtrack, and all the digital content included in the Collector's Edition. The pack also boasts the recently released Might & Magic Heroes III HD Edition, the visually overhauled re-release of the classic turn-based strategy title from 1999.

Pre-ordering gets you access to the beta

Furthermore, Ubisoft has announced that users who pre-order any of the three editions of Might & Magic Heroes VII will be granted access to the closed beta, kicking off on May 25. The beta includes the Haven and Academy factions, and offers two solo and multiplayer skirmish maps.

So far, the development process has been pretty transparent, involving the extensive community built around the game and letting players have a pretty active voice in the shaping of the upcoming strategy title.

Fans voted on two of the six factions that would be featured in the final edition of the game, opting between Sylvan and Fortress, and then between Dungeon and Inferno last year.

Consequently, players will be able to play as Haven, Academy, Stronghold, Necropolis, Sylvan, and Dungeon, in the same strategic and tactical manner that made the series famous.

Might & Magic Heroes VII is currently slated for a September 2015 release, headed to Windows PC.
