Midori, a lightweight web browser which features full integration with GTK+ and fast rendering with WebKit, is now at version 0.4.4.

According to the developer, Christian Dywan, the current release, Midori 0.4.4, was delayed a little because he needed to implement improvements to the GTK+ 3 support.

Some problems still remain and users are urged to build with --enable-gtk3 in order to enable GTK+3 support.

Other important changes include: Unity menubar improvements, the DuckDuckGo default search engine received some updates, the experimental fullscreen API used by HTML5 video websites is now supported, bookmark deletion and export were fixed, IPv6 addresses are handled better when typed in the urlbar, and Speed Dial features drag and drop re-ordering.

A complete changelog can be found in the official announcement.
