Members of the world's most notorious illegal street racing syndicate meet each night on the streets of the greatest cities of the world. Find yourself in the position of a novice challenger, set on penetrating this secret society and trumping them all,
one by one. Add insult to injury, as you win the supped-up rides of defeated adversaries, all on your way to being crowned international champion. Just remember, there are no rules. Use whatever routes, shortcuts and driving methods necessary to hit those checkpoints and arrive at the finish line before your opponent has a chance.
The story behind Midnight Club II involves Yakuza, Illegal street racing bosses, champions and tons of fantastic cars that pretty much copy the most ferocious real sport cars models. Seeing as you get to race on the streets of Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo, I was wondering at some point if this isn't by any chance the source of inspiration for the latest movie in the Fast and Furious series - Tokyo Drift. Well, since MC II doesn't involve much drifting, it could have only been the starting idea. What I particularly enjoy about Rockstar's game were the car names. It made me think of Angelina Jolie and Nicholas Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds.
If you were wondering where you've seen the design of those cars in real life, here's a list of some of them to make it easier for you.
