Powerful PCs and lots of hard drive space are needed

After confirming the game some time ago and releasing an impressive gameplay video, Warner Bros. has just revealed a set of minimum and recommended PC requirements for Middle-earth: Shadows of Mordor.

There have been quite a lot of different Lord of the Rings-inspired games in recent years, from the Lego ones coming from Traveller's Tales, to even multiplayer online battle arena ones like Guardians of Middle-earth.

Now, Warner Bros. has tasked Monolith Productions with creating Middle-earth: Shadows of Mordor, an action adventure experience that sees players interact with all sorts of different characters throughout the famous world.

The game is set to debut on PC, among other platforms, and the Steam listing has just confirmed the minimum and recommended system specifications, so check them out below.

Minimum: OS: 64-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8 Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 | AMD Radeon HD 6950 DirectX: Version 11 Network: Broadband Internet connection Hard Drive: 25 GB available space

As you can see, the game requires some beefy hardware, not to mention plenty of hard disk space. As such, if you plan on experiencing the game as intended, get ready for an upgrade.
