The development team at Monolith Productions and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are keen to keep fans interested in the new Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor by launching a new trailer that focuses on the character Bright Lord and on how the video game is connected to the wider universe created by J.R.R. Tolkien.

The two companies talk about the way the Wraith is linked to main character Talion and about the way they will combine their forces to take down Sauron, the leader of the dark forces himself, while also detailing their connection to the mythical Rings of Power.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will ask the player to become one of the murdered Ranger of the Black Gate as he makes his way through waves of enemies and their leaders in order to take his revenge.

The action title will introduce a unique system called Nemesis, which allow gamers to interact with important characters as the game progresses, influencing their actions and changing the way future battles and challenges work.

Monolith has also promised to deliver a complex story that includes all the lore that Tolkien fans are already familiar with while offering a few new details about the evolution of Sauron and his forces.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be out on October 2 and can be played on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and the 360.
