Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Monolith Productions have released the full list of achievements for the upcoming action-adventure game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, ahead of the title’s launch on September 30.

The upcoming game shares a lot of gameplay elements with the Assassin’s Creed series, and follows a fallen Ranger, Talion, in his quest for revenge. Brought back from the land of the dead by a Spirit of Vengeance with a grudge against Sauron, he embarks on a mission to punish those who killed his family, and ultimately to foil the dark lord’s machinations.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor enables players to enforce their will upon the feeble-minded legions of Mordor, with the action set before the events of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, before Sauron’s rise to power.

The newly revealed list of achievements contains a few spoilers and enforces what developer Monolith Production stated right from the get-go, the fact that you will be able to explore the realm and discreetly insert yourself within the hierarchy of the orc army, taking advantage of your newfound Wraith powers.

Most of the Achievements/Trophies are related to how you go about interacting with the game world during your quest for vengeance against Sauron and his minions, rather than being tied to your progression through the storyline.

The list reveals that you will be able to incite riots, by pitting ruling Warchiefs one against the other, or threaten and intimidate leaders, then make good on your threats, and the game’s focus seems to be on letting players write their own, unique story, through the many interactions available to them, rather than to follow a pre-determined path.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’s open-world approach, together with the Nemesis system, allows players to enjoy different events in every playthrough, and to decide whether they go through the ranks of the orc army alone or they raise their very own military force to combat Sauron’s.

The emphasis on open-world exploration and freedom of choice does not however mean that the game doesn’t also have an over-arching storyline to explore. The story follows Talion in his quest for revenge, aided by the long-dead elf Celebrimor, in a Mordor that is very different from the desolate wasteland that gamers got to see in Peter Jackson’s movie adaptations of J. R. R. Tolkien’s books.

So, without further ado, here is the entire list of Trophies/Achivements, straight from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s official announcement:
