Warner Bros. and Monolith have confirmed that they'll debut the upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor action adventure game sooner than anticipated, as the game is going to start its launch one weekend earlier, on September 30.

The fall season promises to bring forth a huge amount of new game releases, and among them are all-new intellectual properties such as Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

The title, coming from Monolith and Warner Bros., was initially set to debut in the middle of October but now its release has been brought forward in order to avoid the cluster of releases from that period.

As such, one week earlier, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor begins its release on September 30 in North America for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms. On October 2, it will debut for the PC globally and for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One in Europe and other parts of the world.

"Based on hearing fans’ excitement over the latest chronicle in Middle-earth, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will release the action game earlier than originally planned at all participating retailers," the company says.

Expect to hear much more about the new game in the following months, as we get closer to its new release period.
