At Microsoft Convergence 2012, Microsoft has provided a series of details on it plans for the portfolio of business solutions that its Dynamic Businesses customers can take advantage of at the moment.

The company has been focused on delivering software and cloud-based services that would enable businesses to be dynamic and determine a higher level of commitment from people, while also offering them the possibility to achieve their full potential.

The Redmond-based software giant has also unveiled info on the updates it has in store for the business solutions its customers can enjoy at the moment.

Before the end of this year, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 will become available, following the official launch of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 last year and that of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 for Retail last month.

The upcoming release will include a variety of industry enhancements, such as multichannel retail capabilities with Web storefronts, or RoleTailored, in-context business intelligence based on SQL Server technologies.

Additionally, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 and Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013, both of them cloud-enabled for Windows Azure and capable of delivering various optimizations for small and midsize businesses (SMBs), will become available in the fourth quarter of the year.

In May, the Redmond-based company will make the beta flavor of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 available.

Moreover, it also reiterated plans to deliver a next major release of Microsoft Dynamics AX as an enterprise cloud service.

Additionally, there will be a service update of Microsoft Dynamics CRM arriving in the second quarter of the year, with native mobile support for leading smartphone platforms out there.

“In keeping with its commitment to release updates to its cloud service twice a year, Microsoft announced the next Microsoft Dynamics CRM service update will be available in Q4 calendar year 2012, delivering capabilities in social customer care and cloud-based data enrichment services,” the company also announced.

“People are the heart of every business, and Microsoft business solutions deliver on the promise of enabling people to do their best work through modern, elegant business applications that provide unrivaled time to value, simplicity and agility,” said Kirill Tatarinov, president, Microsoft Business Solutions, speaking to more than 10,000 attendees in the opening keynote presentation at Convergence 2012.
