Microsoft will debut several new and updated products this fall, including the brand new Windows 8 operating system that will be unveiled on October 25.

In order to make sure that everything goes smoothly, Microsoft will train all its UK channel partners on the new product launches, including Windows 8 and Office 2013.

“We’ve actually got really ambitious plans – we’ve just signed a target to reach and train 8000 channel partners, in conjunction with distribution in the UK, on all those products. That’s an eight-fold increase what we’ve done before,” Janet Gibbons, director of partner strategy and programs at Microsoft, said in a statement.

The first event in this regard already took place last week, but similar conferences focused on the same subject will continue until the first quarter of 2013.
