Microsoft’s global marketing blitz for Windows 8 and the Surface tablet isn’t over, even though we’re getting very close to the public debut of Windows 8.1 and the second-generation Surface.

The Softies will very soon move the advertising campaign for the two products in British airports, as it’s willing to show travelers the benefits of switching to its new operating system.

According to The Drum, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and Stansted airports will also hold presentations of Windows 8 and Surface Pro starting mid-June.

“We're thrilled to be spearheading the Microsoft Windows 8 summer activation, especially one aimed at driving engagement with such a diverse audience. We believe our presence in departure lounges across UK airports this summer will provide the perfect platform to engage travelers with the latest devices,” Allan Cobb, managing director of Momentum UK, the company responsible for the campaign, said.
