Tomorrow it's Patch Tuesday, with Microsoft announcing a total of 11 different updates, five of which are rated as critical and supposed to fix flaws in Windows, Office, and Internet Explorer.

In addition to these fixes, Redmond is also planning to roll out several non-security updates that are mostly supposed to address bugs found in Windows 8.1 on both desktops and tablets.

Microsoft has revealed in an advisory that it'll indeed provide Windows 8.1 and RT 8.1 users with several non-security fixes tomorrow, but hasn't provided any specifics on what's going to be fixed. The bulletins only state a brief description saying that you should “install this update to resolve issues in Windows.”

Just like the other updates, these new patches will be delivered via Windows Update on Windows 8.1, so make sure you install them as soon as they reach your computer, as they are all supposed to correct bugs and improve performance.
